This little girl right here is so very near and dear to my heart. I’ve been friends with her mama for years. I won’t say how many but since the junior high days. She is one of the sweetest, goofiest, and fun to be around people I know and I am so glad God finally answered her prayers and made her a mother to this little darling.
So many young woman these days struggle with infertility. I have my suspicions as to why but that’s a post for another day. Needless to say, out of my small, tight group of friends from high school, four out of five of us (myself included) have struggled with some degree of infertility. We are too familiar with the treatments, the surgeries, the statistics, the miscarriages, and the emotions that plague the infertility battle. The good intentioned but misguided words or suggestions of friends and family (and strangers!), and the compassionate yet blunt doctors spouting statistical chances of conception. Science has come a long way in helping many women conceive children, but sometimes science and doctors are wrong. While doctors told her parents that chances of conception was slim, even with intervention, God had another plan and blessed them (with no medical intervention at all) with this beautiful baby girl.
Welcome to the world little Rosie. You have blessed your parents more than you will ever know and you are so loved by so many.
