Dear Ethan,
You will be three years old in a couple of weeks. I can’t believe that time goes by so fast. You’ve gone from a sweet little baby to a full blown kid. You are FULL of personality and say the funniest things. You are starting to sing and I love to hear your little voice full of melody. You are a rough and tumble BOY. You are constantly covered in bumps and bruises from playing as only boys can. And you are loud. If you’re not screaming in delight, you’re not playing right. You are so sweet with your little brother and your cousin, you love both of them so much. You can’t wait until Liam is big enough to play with you – you are constantly trying to “help” him to do things, like bounce higher in his bouncer or roll over. You have your moments of naughty behavior, but you are a sweet kid full of life and happiness. You love to make others laugh and to laugh yourself. And you are a smart kid, that’s for sure. You can figure things out quickly and learn songs by hearing them once. You love to take things apart and then try to figure out how to put them back together. I am so impressed with your love for learning and exploring, I hope you keep that your whole life. I just can’t believe you are turning THREE. I vividly remember the day you were born and it seems like yesterday. Happy Birthday to my big boy. I love you so much.
Love, Mommy
