Letters to our Sons | October 2013

Dear Ethan,

I can’t quite believe how time is flying. I was just looking at pictures from earlier this year and I am amazed by how much you’ve grown. You have gotten so tall and are really losing your baby face. You are learning so much at school and it astounds me how much you know. You’re turning into a bona fide kid at only three and a half years old. It amazes me.

There’s not much I want to say to you this month except that I love you more than I can even begin to express. You are the sweetest, cutest, smartest, silliest, most pain in the butt kid I’ve ever met. You make me smile, you make me laugh, you make me cry, but above all you make me so incredibly proud to be your mom. I am in love with your spirit and your imagination, your mischief and your mayhem, your smile and your laughter. I thank God every day for allowing me to your be your mom. I love you.

Love, Mommy

I am so happy to be a part of this “Letters to our Sons” blog circle, with so many awesome moms writing to their sons. Please continue the circle and head over to Lara Gowder, to read her letter as well.
