Letters to our Sons | July 2013

Dear Liam,

You are going to be eight months old in a couple of days…EIGHT MONTHS! Where does the time go??? You have been teething for months now and finally one just poked through! You are getting both your top front teeth. You are going to look so cute, like an adorable little bunny!

You are the happiest kid in the world. You wake up smiling every day. You are always smiling, laughing, and just taking in the world around you. You adore your big brother. You love to grab him and pull his hair. Sometimes you use his chin as a teether. But he adores you too and doesn’t mind. You love your food. There seem to be only a few things that you’re not too fond of, like pumpkin. But you love green veggies and most fruits, and you really like oatmeal. You also spitting food and then rubbing it all over your face. Cleaning food out of your eyelashes is not easy! You’re not too interested in learning to crawl yet. You’re content bouncing away in your bouncer (or on a lap) and sitting or rolling around on the floor. Which is fine with me, I’m not sure I’m ready for you to be mobile yet!

You’ve brought so much joy to our family and I can’t imagine life without you. In fact, I can barely remember life before you. You’re very special to all of us. I love you little man.

Love, Mommy
